About Self Care Healing Class for Caregivers

Many of you know I am teaching this class for those working with and caring for any and all types of animals in any environment. The class was created by Kathleen Prasad, Founder of SARA (Sheltered Animal Reiki Association). As a member and a practitioner of SARA, I am among a group of Reiki practitioner and teacher volunteers committed to supporting rescued animals and their caregivers with the healing benefits of Reiki meditation.

This class addresses how to help the care taker heal themselves from the #1 occupational hazard of Compassion Fatigue. You will receive specific techniques on how to deal with the fatigue, anger, anxiety and much more through different methods of meditation. This class is NOT a Reiki class, but about how create a space of balance and harmony within yourself in the most chaotic and stressful moments as well as for everyday living.

When we put ourselves last we deplete all of our vital energy. This class provides simple ways of taking care of yourself - for if we don't care care of ourselves how can we care for others?
