Update on Reiki for 2 Sheltered Dogs
Since last weekend when I was with both Duke and Sailor, BHS (Baltimore Humane Society) will now put Serenity Reiki & SARA's (Sheltered Animal Reiki Association) information in the adoption packets so that each family can contact me and have a free Reiki session! This is a great step in the direction of helping to lower the number of animals being returned to the shelter.
As a member and practitioner of SARA with whom I receive continous education & support, provides me with the opportunity to connect even deeper with the animals in the shelter and in my private practice.
The mission of the Shelter Animal Reiki Association (SARA) is to improve the lives of animals by promoting the use of Reiki in animal shelters, sanctuaries and rescues worldwide through education, training and the advancement of Reiki programs that meet the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
We are a group of Reiki practitioner and teacher volunteers committed to supporting rescued animals and their caregivers with the healing benefits of Reiki meditation. Extending Reiki Meditation to the newly families & the animals' forever homes can support all aspects of healing.
It is such a Blessing to be able to take it one step further, because the goal is to help heal both animal and support the adopted family and Reiki can do that!
