Horses & Inspiration

This year for an early birthday surprise my wish was granted! All I wanted to do is spend sometime offering Reiki to horses as a gift to myself! Since the moment when Fuligan, one of my cats, who was my inspiration for becoming a Reiki practioner, I also wanted to get back to spending time with horses as well.

It was this past weekend, one of the coldest days so far for December, we were scheduled to go and saddle up! I was (and still am :) ) so excited that I didn't care about the cold, all I wanted to do was just be with them. From childhood to adulthood, I spent a lot of time riding but then "life" got in the way and for the past 20 years I missed being with the horses.

Why I am sharing this story? To give those that need a little inspiration. If you have a passion that you have not pursued for what ever reason, don't allow what is preceived as an obstacle to get in the way. Remember that phrase, "Where there's a will, there's a way"..?

Allow whatever it is that you love to do, be your guide of inspiration. It may be photography, writing books, making a movie, starting a pet sitting service... it doesn't matter what it is but that it exist! Perhaps this will also allow you to go deep within your self and reflect. What really moves you, what makes you really feel alive? I feel echknowledging something that is important to you is a gift to yourself as well as to others!

Being Reiki with Animals is one of my deepest passions that I am now fulfilling! Its the love of the people who support me as well as the unconditional love and compassion from the animals I connect with that inspires me.
